About me

A teacher who built his own school's tools

I have taught mathematics since 2020. The same year I co-founded Repka, and I have led its mathematics department since.

What I do

  • Teach weekly exam-preparation groups and one-to-one lessons
  • Plan every lesson around past-paper questions; set homework after each lesson and mark it before the next
  • Keep parents informed: what has been covered, what is still weak, and whether the target grade is realistic
  • Designed and built the school's learning platform — lessons, homework, marking, progress tracking and the school office

Curricula I prepare students for

IGCSEA-LevelIB MathematicsSAT · ACTEGE · OGE

What I am looking for

Repka works with Russian-speaking students who are preparing for Russian national examinations. I have moved to Dubai, and I am now looking for a position teaching mathematics in an international school — where I teach in English every day and work as part of a department.

What I bring is on this page: a way of running lessons, homework and feedback that I designed, tested with my own students, and built the tools for.

  • Based in Dubai, UAE — available to teach in person and online
  • Mathematics; also Physics and Computer Science at secondary level
  • Russian — native, English — working proficiency

EGE is the Russian national university-entrance examination, OGE the school-leaving examination after year 9. The platform interface is in Russian; the tour below explains each screen in English.

How I teach

How a lesson works

Solve a few tasks the way a student does on the platform — the answer is marked at once — and see what the teacher has in front of them during the lesson.

Homework with instant marking

Type an answer and press Check. On the platform the student sees the result at once, and the teacher sees which topics went wrong.

0 / 3solved

What happens in a live lesson

The same task appears on the shared board, and each student also solves it on a personal sheet.

The board of a real lesson
  • The teacher writes on the board with a stylus; every student sees it at once
  • Tasks from the bank are placed on the board with an answer line — the class answers, the platform marks
  • The teacher sees the whole group: who has answered, who is stuck, and each student's working
  • A student's solution or a common mistake goes onto the board in one click
  • The lesson is recorded, and the board is saved with it

What's inside

What the platform covers

Everything a lesson needs before, during and after it — for the teacher, the student, the parent and the school office.

Online classroom

Video, a shared whiteboard, in-lesson classwork and chat. The teacher sees the whole group and each student's working. Lessons are recorded with the board.

Question bank

Tens of thousands of exam tasks sorted by exam, question number and type. Classwork and homework are assembled from the tasks a lesson actually covered.

Marking

Short answers are marked instantly. Written solutions are submitted on a sheet or as a photo and marked by the teacher against exam criteria.

Score forecast

The platform estimates each student's exam score from their own results and shows which question types hold the score back.

Parent dashboard

Attendance, homework, progress by subject and the balance of paid lessons — without having to ask the teacher.

Payments and bots

Lesson packages, bills and reminders go out through Telegram and MAX bots. A parent sends a photo of the receipt to the bot, and it arrives next to the bill for confirmation.

Built-in CRM

Enquiries, the trial-lesson pipeline, tasks for staff and a client card for every family — in the same system the lessons run on.

Support desk

Messages from parents and students in one inbox, with shifts, reply-time tracking and the family's lessons and balance at hand.

Timetable and staff

Teacher availability, trial slots, lesson series, salary calculated from lessons taught, and roles with separate access for teachers, support and managers.
